The Monster Factory is cleared for "all ages" designation.

This morning the Monster Factory was paid a visit by Jane and Nancy from the Consumer Product Safety division of Health Canada. We are pleased to report that not only do the prototypes of our new monsters meet the "all ages" safety standards, so do all the existing monsters. Everybody tell your babies!

Monster Factory Hits the News Stands!!!

Check us out! We made it in to the Covet section of Toronto's Dose Magazine. Thanks to Jennifer Morrison for the write up. It looks like the monsters had fun at their photoshoot. We nabbed a bunch of copies as keepsakes, but were sure to leave enough for the general public. Does this mean we're famous?

The Monster Factory was invited to come and talk to the first year fashion class at Ryerson University, about the ins and outs of starting and running a business after graduating. We had a great time, the students were just fantastic, totally responsive and full of valuable questions, which I hope we answered well. We actually had such a great time talking about the business, that we forgot to take a couple of photo's of the lecture, which we were hoping to do, so instead we took some pics of fashion studio area, which was full of delicious industrial goodness, and pattern perfection. Thanks to the fashion students for being so awesome, and to Lu Ann for inviting us into the classroom!
(there are more photos, up on my flickr account, just clickity clack the above photo)

The Monster Factory had the pleasure of speaking to first year Ryerson fashion design and communications students this Thursday the 22nd of September. We had a great time talking about our business and what it's like being entrepreneurs. We hope that we inspired their young minds to go out and make their own businesses happen. Thanks for having us.
